How I Work With You

If you have not worked with a writer | content creator before, fear not! Here is my process.

1. First contact

Tell me all about your project. What writing|content do we need to create? What is your budget? If we are a good fit, then we move on to outline the project.

2. Project scope

To start, I’ll ask you a comprehensive set of questions to agree on the scope of work. I will email these questions to you in the form of a brief.

Your answers will give me an understanding of your needs and objectives. So please take the time to answer the questions thoughtfully and insightfully so I can deliver you the best result.

3. Proposal

Once I have received your brief, I quote the job in a proposal that will outline:

▶︎ pricing

▶︎ writing|content deliverables

▶︎ timescales & revision process

▶︎ terms and conditions

4. Agreement

Once you accept my proposal and pay a 50% deposit, I can secure your spot in my calendar.

5. Strategy session

We meet via Zoom and get into the nitty-gritty, digging into the brief together. By the end of this call (30 – 90 minutes depending on the complexity of the brief), we shall be on the same page, and I will have the information I need to start the job.

6. Content Creation

I put my head down and get to work creating your writing|content. When complete, I will deliver the first draft to your inbox in a formatted Google Doc within the time frame specified in the proposal.

7. Edits and revisions

Now it is your turn to offer detailed and constructive feedback. Although most of my clients love my first draft, I include two rounds of revisions and one round of proofreading to ensure the writing|content is spot-on.

8. Final draft & invoice

Now for the exciting part, the delivery of brand new writing|content ready for your business. I will deliver three documents:

▶︎ final draft

▶︎ transfer of copyright

▶︎ final invoice

9. Content contentment

When the dust has settled, I ask you for a testimonial for my website. I will also send you a few short questions for you to answer, so I can continually improve my services.
